Default Wiring OEM HID in non HID car

thinking about buying Jasbmo's HID's but need to know if the wiring is different? I'd assume it is, and so what do I need to buy? Part numbers and or any info would be mush appreciated.

the HIDs will work if the ballasts are included, you'll need a relay conversion harness for the system to work with your 9006 oem low beams.

be aware the system will not be fully functioning since you dont have the wiring or ecu for the headlight auto-leveling system, which is VERY extensively wired.

Yo Kev,

Maybe the underhood fusebox terminal where my trailer light harness power wire is attached would be a good point to power an HID kit from (or additional horns, amps, etc.). -- photo attached.

You'll probably attach your existing drivers side low beam 9006 headlight connector to the "relay conversion harness" Puredrifter mentioned and maybe shrinkwrap the unused right side 9006 connector to keep it dry.

Post photos of the beam pattern when your done.

Pure/Jim
First off, thanks for the info.

This is not a kit but a set of OEM HID from Jasbmo who is selling his. I see conversion cables on the internet like these:

http://store.ijdmtoy.com/ProductDeta...ter_04&click=2

Pure would this work? Anything else?

I'm aware that I will not have the auto-leveling.

Thanks

Also I'm not sure the d2r hid bulbs will plug into the 9006 connection.

it's NOT a kit but actual HID's from another 400 see the link below

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...eadlights.html

i'm trying to figure out if I can just remove the halogen assembly and put in the HID assembly?

Pure posted that I need a conversion cable but that was it. Is that all I need?

Thanks
