Default cutting strut tower??

I am looking to lower a 98 LS to the point where I know I am going to have to modify the strut tower, and I'm wondering if anybody can help me with how I should go about this (pics ect.??). I did search but to no avail. Thanks for any help!

first u need to find the exact spot to cut, then take a 3" hole saw and drill through. dont forget to spray some paint to prevent rusting.

look in the 2GS forum, iirc there's a DIY. if i was going to i would just drill a small pilot hole UP through the underside of the strut tower (using the marks the control arm left on it as a guide) and then drill down with a 2" bimetal hole saw.

Look in the 'vip style' section. BlkonBlk did a tutorial on the Liberty blog.

*edit - the piece of thick wall pipe i used ended up being more of an issue than a solution. i will be redoing it and using rust preventative, sandable/paintable seam sealer, primer, and basecoat.
