lots of time has gone into this build so far and lots left to go. I have made all of my own parts for this build. I made my own mounts, oil pan, harness, turbo setup( in the works now) Let me know what you guys think
It is a 5.3 from a 03 suburban fresh stock rebuild with a tr220 cam and comp 918 spring. I am running a built th350 with a revmax 3200 stall with anti baloon plate, i have a 66/72 borg warner turbo and will be running water/methanol injection with it too i will be getting nelson performance to do my tune

the car is planned to me my dd/weekend strip car i am a fan of automatics so thats why i didnt go with a t56 plus the price of one is rediculous plus all the extra work to make the car a manual. As far as the clearances nothing was cut or hammered it all fit in awesome only thing i had to do is drill some holes for the shifter. And as far as messing it up i didnt mess it up i made it better have you ever tried to price out performance parts for the 1uz its rediculous in cost with this motor for the fulll swap and extra goodies i will have about 3000 bucks into it and should be close to 500hp with just the cam i know the car will be about 325hp so with alittle boost im hoping for close to 500hp but we will see

Beast, indeed. That turbo is large. The stock LS engine is awesome and gets great gas mileage, but if you want power, it makes sense to go with something with a better hp/$$$ ratio.
Your setup with a 6-speed manual transmission would be a setup I could only dream of. It may be too beasty to drive on the street though, but then again, people daily-drive CTS-Vs just fine.
I'm always very respectful of people taking on projects like yours and actually completing them. It isn't a small undertaking.![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

He says he's building a daily driver/weekend warrior street car. Agreed though, a good auto tranny will outshift any of us any day and automatic transmission is much better for keeping a boosted car in the powerband. I just think the LS with a manual transmission would be great.
