I am due for tire replacement on my 2005 LS (245/45/18). I am leaning toward two tires. I read so my good reviews about them. Primacy has slightly longer life 60k vs 45k for Pilot Sport A/S.
I drive mostly on interstate between NC and VA. I would appreciate if fellow members give their opinion about these tires. Help me to pick the best among these two.
Thanks

Funny thing this thread came up, as i've ordered some A/S's plus but now thinking about exchanging them for some Primacy's (unmounted).
I currently have the NON plus A/s's and i dont have any complaints at all, but gathered the primacy's might be quieter as i had some experience with them on my 98LS, and they were great.

A buddy of mine put the same size Primacy's on his 05 and he loves em. Also might want to look at the Bridgestone Serenity(they quoted me buy three get one free). Tire rack rates it #2 behind the Primacy(in its catagory) just a little worse snow traction but better ratings otherwise. Michelin on sale all month at sears.

I ask these questions because I am looking for a Michelin tire with a softer ride than I am getting from the MXV4. It seems I feel every bump.

Primacy is the best tire Iv'e EVER OWNED!!!! The only tire i'll buy from now till my death is PRIMACY as long as I can afford them. I for years used Dunlop,Goodyear and all other brands except The Primacy by Michelin and WOW!! The Primacy changed the ride quality over night! Made my LS feel like an ever more luxurious auto. Lessened tire noise and road felt softer than other tires and grip of road for luxury tire is THE TOPS! Get any Michelin or Bridgestone but, PRIMACY is the best for luxury buddy! L.G.N.M

Primacy(MIchelin) was the tire for LS most recommended on all sites when looking for tires 5 months ago! Tires seem to still look like they are barely broke in as well. Be sure to get alignment when putting on new tires!!!! L.G.N.M

The MXV4plus and MXV4S8 rated 11 and 13 on tire rack. Primacy was #1 in this same grand touring all season category. Remember for the Primacy there is a v and h rated tire. My 04 LS had 17 inch h rating, 05 has 18 inch v rating among others.

Primacy blows away any and all other tires hands down. Been driving Lexus since 1993 and this is the most quiet and best handling tire out there. I've put over 600K miles on the road since then using many other brands this one is the best.
I have the 245 45 18 on my LS 430 now and the profile of the tire also looks great.

Just put the Pimacys on my wife's Acura RL. Absolutely changed the ride of the car. I'm sure it also has something to do with the worn out Goodyears, but, I don't ever remember the car riding as smooth and quiet as it does now. Would highly recommend them.

Best tires on the market! Primacy's by Michelin! I previously used Goodyear and Dunlops on my cars(factory wheels) and thought they were good. That was until I got new tires in October 2008 I believe thats when. Car was smother and quieter than ever! Best tires! L.G.N.M
