Default Dealer customized 2005 LS430

Hey All

Want to see the ugliest 2005 LS430. Well at least to me its ugly, I'm sure to someone this will be their dream car.
I was in JM Lexus last night and my Daughter want to play with the new cars. She is the little one posing and will be three in April.

The one thing I have to say positive about this particular car was the Black paint. It was just mirror smooth with almost ZERO and I mean ZERO orange peal. My service advisor and I were actually amazed how good this black paint job was. Its the best I have seen in any car other that the Phaeton.

Hey The price for this thing is $67,050

$58,675 for the car w/ Keyless and matts (no Nav or Levinson) $8,375 for the cloth top, hand painted red and yellow pinstrips, red leather piping, chrome wheels, and very dark tinted windows. They called it the Premier Edition.

Jerry

PS these pics were taken by my Nextel Camera Phone, not the best quality...but it captures the moment.

Did they colour sand the factory black paint?
Black leather with red piping, certainly look custom and unique, but not exactly my cup of tea.
I have no comment about the cloth top.............

I wonder how much it costs?

Cute kid! Please hand her a hammer and crowbar next time you go in and say 'Daddy says fix the top on the black car over there... run run!"

Thanks, yeah thats my little angel. She was only 4 months old when I wrecked my 91 LS400. She goes to the dealer with me every time I go for service or anything.

Yeah that thing was UGLY. I did not pay attention to the price, but I just called them te get it and they will call me back with one.

The black on the top is actually a Cloth top that simulates the car being a convertible. Its a really popular thing down here in South Florida. All the old people (Sorry for you Seniors here in CL) love these Cloth tops on their Lincolns and Buicks. From time to time you do see a Lexus with these tops. Usually a White car with a Blue or Green cloth top, and the call it the Palm Beach edition. This is the worst one I have ever seen beacue of the red pinstrip on the outside and the red piping on the leather.

I dont think they color sanded the car, but dont know? The color code inside the door jam stated it was just the standard black. It must have been built or at least painted on a Tuesday when all the techs are well rested and paying extra attention to detail???
