Do you actually ride with the high beams on at night so you can see the DRL's? When I first got my DRL's I did that and they got burnt up, turned them in and got them replaced.

I have the VLED DRL's also but as soon as I turn on my headlights the DRL's cut off. I figured since they are only on during DRL mode they are only using a fraction of voltage compared to when you put your highbeams on.

The DRL's will only operate when the low beams are off, they will work with park lights on and will not turn on if the emergency break is engaged when you turn on the car. The DRL's are your high beams running at half pwr, you need the wiring harnesses (DRL Module) to boost the pwr for the LED's to work due to LED’s low pwr consumption. I never had an issue with my VLED kit on my 430, they worked flawless every time.
