Default Beatsonic + Pioneer AVH-P3200BT In!

Put one of these in the 99 LS with just the plain grey dash kit. Decided to go with the Beatsonic on the 03 LS to match the wood grain dash, which it does pretty well.

Installed by Geek Squad at Best Buy. $99+ a $20 tip.

The cross bar must be cut, and the white compass module sitting on top of it must be relocated. Custom extension wire harness made by GS tech allowed this because there is not enough room in the compartment after the unit is installed for it, and of course there is not enough slack in the factory wire to allow this much movement. Had to be relocated under the unit and mounted with double sided tape. Beatsonic literature does not cover this.

Looks pretty good. Of course the sound is amazing! The Pioneer has Bluetooth, front USB port, front SD card slot and front aux input. Can also support back up camera and ipod controls. Sat ready, HD radio ready, touchscreen controls, DVD player. you name it, it has it. Got it new on ebay for $314 including shipping.

Beatsonic kit was $303 and includes bracket, custom harness, front plate and almost complete instructions.

There is some space on either side of the unit. Considering screen spline to fill these gaps. I guess they have to make the opening large enough for all aftermarket double din units.

Total, without the screen spline: $736

What is a screen spline? Where do you get it and how is it used?

The kit was in stock in Cali so it only took a few days to get. I ordered online and got very fast response, and service.

Screen spline is a small strip of rubber that comes in varying sizes. It is what holds screen to the frames. It is forced into a narrow channel along the edge of the frame. You can get it at Home Depot.

Yes. It comes with custom harness made specifically for the car, side brackets, antenna extension, and the face plate.

Forgot to mention. On these radios we have the 6 disc changer sitting underneath. The beatsonic kit has a flap that is attached to the faceplate that covers up the opening.

So if you don't want to install a storage pocket to fill that hole you have this:
