Where is the paint code on LS 430?
I bought my car with 22,000 miles on it 3 years ago. Can't find the sticker, if there ever was one. The color is a very pretty light green, which looks like the Flint Mica pics I've seen on other posts, but it looks like there is more grey in that particular shade. I stumbled upon "Cypress Pearl" somewhere, and think that is the shade. I know most makes have a color code somewhere on the vehicle.
Anybody know where it is on the 430?

Open your driver side door. It will look something like this.
Now look at the "B" pillar. You will see a white sticker below the striker.
Now look closer.
In the lower left portion of the sticker you will see it marked"C/TR:XXX/XXXX"
C,is for color T,is for trim.
In my case above , the paint code for Cinnabar pearl is 3N1.
Every single toyota or lexus, I dont care what year or model it is, will have this sticker in this location .

However ,If you dont see it in any of these places there is only one good reason that it was removed and that is your car was involved in an accident that required the removal of this sticker. Like some kind of side impact. F.Y.I. stickers w/the V.I.N.# are almost impossible to get replaced. Why do you need this paint code? If you are having some work performed at a shop they can look up this color for you. Or are you just curious what is the name of your color?
Yes sir!! You are correct! At some point Lexus/toyota changed their labels from black letters on a white background(early version) to white letters on a black background(new version).

Curious. And I've had the bumper replaced due to a collision on I-20 with a piece of a truck tire, which I don't recommend. I think I found it. Narrow adhesive strip on jamb of driver door toward bottom consisting of numbers preceded by the Lexus "L" white on black ,,,beneath the numbers are three numbers, which may be the color code. Damn, I need to go to OCD meetings...........Thanks guys..
