My music is back. 01 ML sound system with an after market head unit
so after Google and searching the forum, and 4 radio shops that said it couldn't be done. 
here was my issue my ML amp went bad a few months back. my navi sound still worked but the radio did not play at all. after searching the forum i found the post about everything ML by Romantpa. in his post he was nice enough to post the amps wiring so i used his info and made my own harness from the aftermarket radio to the ML amp output.

the stock radio works and the steering wheel buttons work for the stock radio not the after market head unit. but i don't care, the navi works like it should. im just happy i didnt have to spend $1000 on an ml amp.
