Default New Pricing Tool

Hey, I've always used Kelly Blue Book looking for Trade In Value as the spot to hit in paying for a new ride. I just ran across Clearbook / Truecar. It's at clearbook(dot)truecar(dot)com Seems like an interesting tool with a probability of accuracy and a bell shaped curve.
I thought it was interesting. Has anyone had experience using it?

Checked it out. Looks innovative and useful. The valuation on my car seems right on.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

TrueCar & Edmunds are the most accurate resources I've found.

KBB is written to stuff dealers' pockets. Just like NADA. In fact the first KBB was written by a used car dealership in L.A. (Kelley Kar Company).

Why is the private sale price and trade in price just about the same?

Thanks for the tip. I'll use this to price my Accord.

I could have used this a couple of weeks ago when negotiating for the LS430. It sure beats KBB.
