It comes w/ double stick tape already on it....... its so thin you can see thru the tape. Unless one wants to use adhesive (emblem) instead.

Everyone I know who has it on their car says you just need to clean the area real good and the tape will work just fine.

That part is pretty easy to paint yourself, it took me about 30 mins to tape and paint mine(silver like the Porshe SUV looks pretty good)
