4Sale: Nice JDM mod for 2nd gen 98-00 LS
Hi all,
I am selling this part because it didn't fit my 95-97 model
I personally ordered it in Japan in Toyota dealership. It is genuine toyota accessory, part number 08519-50040.
It looks like antenna with small blue tip (which glows in the dark). When switched on (with ignition on it will pop up to about 30 centimeter length. When ignition off it will automatically retract back. Exaclty the same way like your radio antenna.
It is very easy to install, manual says 0.9 hours, it also has very detailed installation instructions all in japanese but with pictures. It technically fits 95-95 model but ECU may not work properly - that what my dealer told me. I haven't tried this so it's basically brand new.
Original price was $220 usd I want about $140 + shipping.

parking sucks out in Japan so to "aid" in how close u are to the next car, that little "antenna" will help show how close your front end is to the wall or next car

Yes, it's a curb/car parking assistant basically.
Similar to what the Benz S-Class has on there trunks that pop up when you shift to reverse.
