H&R Lowering Springs

H&R springs answer
Didn't know if you received a response to your question. I too have H&R lowering springs on my first gen 92 LS. The drop is approx 1" front and rear. I probably will be selling mine along with the Tokico blue shocks <slightly used> less then 2000 miles to favor coilovers. Ride is fine, just not what I'm looking for.I live in Baltimore, Maryland and the roads really could stand to be a little better. A lowered car in this area really is not a good idea.

Do you have pics of your car with this set up? I have Tokico Blues with Cali Custom springs which are suppose to be a 2" drop, but it doesn't seem like it..... and i didn't get a chance to measure the height before the suspension was done.

I'm pretty new to club lexus, so I will try to post pics. My car is basically stock for now. I have added the JDM clear markers,20% tint on the windows, hyper white headlight, and the turn signal mirror covers. My car really needs to be painted and worked on, but I have to do it slowly as it sits more than I drive it. I am a truck driver, and my car sits for 2-3 weeks ata time. Hope you like the night shot. I tried to get it as best as I possibly could.

The only mods to my car are what you see in the last pic. I am running the Tokico Blue shocks (ordered from I motor gear.com $75 each) with the H&R lowering springs, took over a month to get from Tire Rack ($293 w/shipping)due to low stock, not an air suspension. Will probably get the JTI coilover suspension when tax money comes in. Ride is good, just not for my area and I also need to replace my bushings. They are not worn out, but they could stand to be replaced. Need to get car repainted because there are small scratches that don't really show up in pics but I know are there. My rear bumper and front need serious help. Thinking of going with House of Kolors Kandy Brandywine color for a truly unique look and still set it off. I also have 18" rims (ordered from ebay), just haven't put tires on them yet, and I also have the headlight eyebrows(ordered from japan). Would have put them on, but if you look carefully at the frontal profile pic of my car, you will see that the driver foglight is broken. Just taped it over with clear packing tape to keep water out until I can get another one. Here's the night pic when everything all lit up...

can you take a side pic with the wheels straight and with no angle so the same level as the car? i want to see how your drop compares to mine. i'm not too satisfied with mine. I'm also waiting on some 18" sc430 chrome rims coming this week.

I would see if there is a way you can compare the spring rates, heights etc online. Maybe the H&R springs are the way to go for you. Might be that your springs haven't settled yet. I know different springs settle to their final place at different rates. Mine seemed to have settled almost instantly, installed 2/25/06. All pics were taken on 3/25. How soon you looking to buy??? Like I said before, I will be installing my coilover setup within the next 2 months, current setup will be up for sale. Will take pics with wheels off before current system comes off. My setup has less than 2000 miles since I drive trucks across country and my car sits 2-3 weeks at a time.
