Looking for Original Pioneer/Nakamichi Stereo 98-00 LS400
Mine isn't working and I'd like another one.
Also...the wood dash kit to come with it would be great!!
If anyone has any info on a good deal please let me know!!! Thanks!

Lexus has never placed any wood on any of thier stereo's on the LS. So yours might have been installed by a previous owner (i dont know why people even bother with these kits). However, they can be found on various auction sites, or the classifeilds forum.

I don't know about the head units, but I am certain, from first hand experience, that the wiring harnesses for the amps (under the front passenger seat) of the standard Pioneer and the optional Nakamichi are very different on the 98-00 LS400 - not even the same number of connectors.
If your system isn't working, there are a number of shops that can repair it at a fairly low cost -- might be a better option that a chance on buying a used one.
