The entire sensors seem to be made of brass, which is similar in color to gold of course. The plug is green plastic. It is 100% genuine toyota part, brand new in box... When I ordered a replacement sensor for my car (amongst a bunch of other parts) I somehow ended up ordering two of them.... I meant to order one for my LS400 and one for my GS430, but ordered two for the LS... had to order another one for the GS, so now I have this extra one for the LS, and looking to sell it off.
