1998 LS400 Cold Air Intake
I'm after a '98 cold air intake in any condition... I'm actually after 2 of them as i want to cut them up and make one twice as big.... On the dyno, the LS had 189rwhp without the scoop and 209rwhp with the scoop on!!! So the scoop picks up 20hp !!!! So with our infinate wisdom, we think we can make a better one, so i want to keep the STD one then get 2 others and cut them up...

Just make one, you can do it with a few U-bend mandrel piping and silicone hose couplings. Cut it up, make it go where you need and couple them together. Would cost you lest than $100 easy, unless you buy an expensive filter.

'98 LS400 Cold Air Scoop
The stock air scoop is a work of art, it really is...its very well designed and would be very difficult to make one better.... so we're going to make one bigger... the stock one has 3 'cells' new one will have 6... i want to replicate exactly what's there only bigger.... i may be wasting my time but i'll give it a go.

'98 LS400 Cold Air Scoop
I'll be using my tuning instruments .... wideband air / fuel gauge, an EGT gauge and a magnehelic (negative pressure) gauge....
Fuel trimming will be done by a Jaycar digital fuel adjuster
