anyone know where i can get some eibachs for 97 LS400? Anyone know which springs ride smoother, H&R or Eibach? Do they both lower car the same amount? I am running bilstien HD's with two perches.

Your second and third question have been somewhat answered in other threads. From involvement with other cars and reading hundreds of reviews of both springs on varying platforms, I can say with confidence that Eibach is going to have superior engineering and quality compared to H&R. But as far as comparing the ride characteristics of the two, I don't know; you'll probably find anecdotal evidence at best. I did a lot of similar searching, and only found a handful of somewhat useful posts. One man's smooth is another man's rough.

Regarding your first question, just a possibly helpful tip:

I was looking for 1990-1994 Eibach Springs, which are much harder to find even than 1995-2000 Eibach Springs. So I went on eBay and created a saved search for something like "LS400 Eibach" and also a saved search for the specific Eibach part number. After several months of waiting, I got an automated email saying they were listed! I checked it out, and they looked like the real deal (still had original box, etc), so I bought them 2 hours into their listing. I saw a lot of them pop up for your year before I found them for my earlier year. Someone probably still has them in stock somewhere as well, so there's the internet searching, and then eBay. I hope that perhaps helps you as much as it helped me.

If you see LSportline springs for the '95-00 cars, they're rebadged Eibachs.

both have been discontinued for many years. good luck.

H&R are available new.
