well it was primer at first, but i covered it with some auto spray paint...it can easily be sanded off to original primer. i'll take another pic tomorrow. the mesh grille comes with it, it looks like its see through

hahahah wow this thread is old!!!!! are you interested in buying it? or just asking the question about this grille in general? anyways the grille itself comes pre-drilled for the outer screws from the factory. the only drilling that needs to be done is drill holes where the latch is, which is located at the center of the grille.
