nice car. I think a car as baller as the LS should always be in black or at least dark blue. The red is very unique though. I had a G35 sedan in almost the exact same color

I hear you. I had an '06 GS430 that had a brighter metallic red, I suspect it's the same color as still on the GS's, and it is indeed a beautiful color.
Wifey loved the GS430 color but I didn't care for the rougher ride, smaller trunk and seemed harder to get in and out of. I got the '08 LS460 in the Nobel Spinel Mica in an effort to placate her...was sorta successful. ;->
The black and grey LS's do look a bit more 'distinguished', but I've had enough 'distinguished' in my life.
I'm 69 and while still in reasonably good health I know the actuarial tables are catching up with me and figured this may well be the last new car I'll ever have. I decided to get, what I considered to be, the best new car out there and while very tasteful, still pimp it up a bit with the color, tint and chrome Teleios wheels.
Now if I could just find a grill without the billboard "L" I'd be happier. I might even remove the billboard "L" on the trunk, too. I like quality rides but not to the point of being ostentatious or pretentious about it. A tasteful degree of 'stealth' is nice.
I've always kind of liked the 'sleeper' rides.
My first car, in '57', was a '50 Chevy hardtop, repainted with a robin's egg blue on top and metallic dark blue on the bottom. The first thing I did was to pull the Stovebolt 6 and stuff a '54 Olds V8, stick shift into it. A year later put a Latham supercharger in it. This one had the four Weber side-draft carbs. Yeah...luv'd dem sleepers.
Nothing like pulling up at a light next to some known hot rod, and having the subtle whine of a blower under your hood. The dual Douglas glass packs revealed it didn't have an enemic six in it anymore. Those were the days, the best days in the world, mid-50's, single, didn't have to account for your $$ and damn few responsibilities...then I got married.
