Default Spotted 2 460L's in HK today

This is the fifth day of my Hong Kong visit. After four days of spotting no 460 or 460L - I saw two 460L's today. The first was black and driving in the mid levels on the Hong Kong side. The second was silver and parked with its driver near the Star Ferry on the Kowloon side. The second was an exec class - no rear middle head rest. Coincidentally, same color as my exec. Don't know if CL has any HK members with 460's? I think that HK has one of the highest percentages of luxury cars of any city in the world. Only the rich can afford cars (with a tax of 50-100%) and there is definitely conspicuous consumption. Of course they pay a max of 15% income tax. BTW, gas is about US$8/gal but you can't drive very far. I haven't seen the HK chief executive's 600hL yet - it was in a photograph posted a month or so ago with some other high ranking officials from various countries.

I was there last November, I saw maybe 4 or 5 LS460's in total, one of them, a white one, is parked along the front entrance of the Shangri-la Hotel among a fleet of cars(mostly Mercedes, with a couple Toyota Crowns too), I saw it there a couple times on different days when we passed by, so I assume it belongs to the hotel, maybe to service their guests.

Saw a silver one in Central parked in front of the Jardine House, another in truffle mica (an Executive Package) behind the Mandarin hotel which I took pictures :

As for Donald Tsang's LS600hL, I saw it on TV in our hotel room in a newsclip for a few seconds, showing him arriving in it.
It just appear grayish, I think it could be either truffle mica or verdigris mica . . .

All this talk of HK is making me homesick I was raised there and remember seeing my first Ferrari 512BB in the 70s. It started me on my craze for cars.

same here, raised there but then i won't say i miss hk as much after living here for the past 12 years. nice cars in hk is not "rare" at all though that's for sure. though i do think it's kind of waste coz' speed limit and what not in hk is really low (90km/h in hk is considered very fast, and that's not even close to my normal freeway speed here)

While I wasn't born there, I did a lot of business in HK and made a lot of great friends whom I miss dearly to this very day. Ahhh the Jockey Club & the Cricket Club (great food, great service), great memories. I think I'll make a stopover the next time on CX... *sigh*

I agree about the driving conditions. I would be too worried about driving my cars in HK. I do miss the food and the energy though.
