LS460 A-pillar garnish removal & install
My A-pillar has extensive cigarette burns from the previous owner. Does anyone have a schematic of removal and install of the interior drivers side A-pillar garnish (from a shop manual or electronic). Thanks.

whenever working around air bags you want to make sure you kill the power, for accidental discharge untill you are positive how to take those pillars off, but they just snap out, you can find a trim removal tool at maybe autozone or other autoparts stores...

3 clips, start from the top and gently pull the top out and it will lift out, do be careful of the airbag, this is from the service manual. Its not a bad idea to kill the power as stated, although the service manual does not say that is necessary for the A pillar cover removal. I would though... its easy and better off safe than sorry
