Default 2011 LX LED Turn Signal Conversion

I have converted all my exterior bulbs to LED. I have not been able to get the turn signals to slow flash, even with resistors. Do I need an LED flasher relay? What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Did you wire in the resistors to the back bulbs? Which load resistors are you using? I believe 2011 was the last year the LX used a conventional flasher can go LED flasher if you like. But I hate these units they have a delay between activating and the first flash

If you're good with a soldering iron you can mod the factory unit

Thanks. We used the standard in line 6 ohm resistors. Which we bench tested. Worked fine on my Acura. Sorry not a techy, I was assisting ha ha. How long is the delay? Thanks again.

I will give the Diode Dynamics a try. At least it is delay adjustable. Thanks.

We wired to the back bulbs. Is that correct?

Yes that's correct. I hope the Diode Dynamics one doesn't have the delay, it's about 0.5 seconds or so on the ones I've tried.
