Need help locating Alt fuse on 04 LX470
Hi all,
New to the forum but in need of help. I mistakenly reversed the jumper cable trying to jump the truck. Which resulted in no power to the dash/panel and the key doesn't do anything. Won't turn on at all.
I read a bunch of stuff and the consensus seems to be the alternator fuse which si 120 AMP in some cases some have mentioned 140Amp. From reading some threads I found it requires to take the fusebox out as there are a couple of bolts on that fuse. The fuse is supposed to be located in the fusebox in the engine bay.
In the meantime, I have put a new battery. locked/unlocked the car with key to disable if it was stuck in any security state. external lights/horn works. beeps on the pressing the lock/unlock but doesn't lock/unlock the car. When the key is put in the keyhole and turned nothing happens but the securtiy light stops flashing.
Unfortnately, I can't find a fuse like that in the model I have. Could it be somehwere else? Or part of the fuselink? I am thinking maybe this year didn't have that fuse and the fuselink is blown and needs to be replaced?
Any help is appreciated. Below is the pic of the fuse box.
Appreciate all the help!

Hello,
Your car has a separate Fusible Link Block that is, or should be located on the Positive Battery Terminal, here is a Parts Catalogue for your car showing the block in question, the concerning part is that it doesn't show separate fuses, so will depend on how it looks in person.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thank you so much for replying and sharing the parts catalogue. I just now need to figure out how take that thing off. I haven't seen a clear DIY on that though I am pretty handy with car stuff. I just need more light in that area as it is parked underground with poor lighting.

I was able to swap the fusible link. On opening the old one there was one fuse blown inside the box. Replaced the whole fusible link box.
Unfortunately, it still doesn't start. or the starter doesn't kick of. It does one click that i think comes from the driver side fuse box.
If I press Menu on the display screen it says "External system not connected" or something like that.
Wondering if there is another fuse somehwere still blown.
