Default Bluetooth System?

Does the LX470 have the Bluetooth System? If so, how does it work? I have Cingular Cell Phone Service and would it work with it? Anyone recommend me getting an LX470 now or wait next year for the next model year?
Thanks!

I have a 2004 LX and a AT&T Sony Ericsson T616, bluetooth enabled phone. My dealership helped me sync up the phone and the address books. It works fine, but keep in mind if the car is in drive or moving you cannot make calls (other than those numbers you have preset in the one-touch dialing) you can always receive a call.

One problem that I have had is that when you accept or make a call and end that call the audio may not come back on. It seems that it occassionally locks up the audio. This is not consistent, other times the audio doesn't come back on the drivers seat speakers, but the audio is on the rest of the speakers. I have notified the dealer and hopefully they'll have a solution at the next checkup.

Keep in mind that the microphone is up on the ceiling console. One cool feature it that on the navigation screen in larger cities, you will see building outlined in pink. If you highlight those you will get the name of the business, the street address and the phone number. If it has a phone number you can push dial and it'll dial that number.

There are some things that need to be improved but overall it's pretty cool.

Thanks! So if I were to get a 2004 LX right now would it have the Bluetooth Phone System? Or would I have to get a certain option package? I checked a Lexus Brochure and it said that only the LS had the Bluetooth Phone System and nothing for the LX. Is there a detailed website that summarizes how it works?
Thanks!

Degeester,
Did your Lexus dealer ever come up with a solution to that problem? I was at a Cingular Wireless dealer and while testing a T616 I had the exact same problem.

I just spoke with the service manager at my Lexus dealer... he told me that the solution to the problem is a replacement of the audio amplifier, he said that although there is no bulletin out for it yet that a solution has been found. So I had him order the amplifier... we will see if this solves the problem.
