Does anyone know what the parking clearance needed for a 2003 LX is? The roof rack of our LX450 was scratched in a garage that was supposed to be 6'6', and I'm wondering if the new 470 is the same. Thanks.

I used to drive a 450, and now I have a 470. I'm almost positive the vehicle is at least an inch taller than the old 450, but I'm not sure the exact height. Try edmunds.com for stats on both cars. Keep in mind, that it also depends on the tire pressure you are running, and whether or not you or a previous owner put slightly larger than stock tires on the vehicle.

As a former owner of the LX, you could lower the suspension before entering the garage. That's what I did sometimes when there was not enough clearance depending what garage I was parking in.
