Bouncy Ride
I have a 98 LX 470 - I noticed a bouncy ride shortly after I bought it (I bought it in April 2003 w/ 75K miles) and the seller paid over $1000 to have the front 'strut/shock accumulators' replaced. That smoothed things out nicely, but now it seems to be getting increasingly bouncy again - 95K miles - Is there some scheduled routine adjustment I should be having done ? This is my first SUV - pretty involved suspension system - I'm not real jazzed up about having to do a $1000 fix every 10K miles or so..... HELP !

What do you mean by bouncy? Where do you feel it? Is the steering wheel vibrating? Are the tires out of balance? Brake rotors warped?
It's hard to hell what might be the problem without more details.

By bouncy - I mean that when you hit moderate (or worse) bumps or rough road, and you're not wearing your seatbelt - you are springing up to the ceiling. I am taking it back to Lexus Service and they should repair @ no charge since it has been less than a year - but I'm not certain of that. It's a very unpleasant ride for passengers evoking comments like - "this is a Lexus ?".....

That is odd behavior indeed.
Have you changed out your shocks? What you described seems like it's a problem of failing shocks. The shocks should dampen any bounciness. When the PO replace the shocks? Could be that it's due again.

Auto leveling accumulators
Just took car in and it is the rear auto leveling accumulators - about $500 each and $300 labor. Replaced the front accumulators 10 months ago. Hope this keeps the ride smooth for another 100K miles.....
