I bet the redesign of the LX will not be introduced as an 05 but they will wait. The 2005 is going to be the GS year. I think that Denny Clements has said in interviews that Lexus will have all new cars in their line uip by 2006-2007. I was at my local dealership and was talking with one of my buddies that works there. I was griping about how I wish all of the options in the LS were options in the LX. Even putting the LS seats in the LX. There has got to be a market for ultra luxury SUV's, but again I read that Denny Clements has said that they focus is not going to be on SUV's because the GX and the RX have proven themselves. I honestly feel that the LX is and will be left out of the other categories. 
ps- Has anyone heard that the Lexus black paint is not clearcoated? My girl bought an 04 GX a last week with the Black exterior and I was reading on Autopia.org that the paint is not clearcoated. Weird?

That's what I understand about the black paint also. If you'll check the detail forum of this site, that's where I got the info. I had to order the Zaino for the non-clear coat finish. Apparently black is the only color that's not clear coat with Lexus.
