Got it
Hello Gang,
Bought it,
Well I have finally arrived in the LX family, I purchased last night (Tuesday) haven't had that
much time, I am excited, grinning right now, It's in pristine condition just like he described paid
$20,500 not bad, I asked him about the starter condition, he said it was never replaced,
said he had the steering wheel groan taken care of at 30k, not a problem since,
It rides just like my LS400, but sitting higher on the road, Had to reschedule with lexus for
the timing belt for Friday, man am I excited. Has 90,123k on it.
The inside is pretty good, he was the only owner, no kids, dogs or anything inside the LX, I'm ecstatic
right now. I'll get back to you guys later.
thanks everyone for answering the questions
ice: giving my brother his corvette back I need to relax with the speed, I just can't slow down in that
car, I need to drive the LX470, don't get wrong the LS400 is fast but you just can't drive it like the vette, Hell
i love hitting the corners in the vette.
I have arrrived.

djr, congratulations! I hope you are as happy with your LX470 as I am with mine. At the price you paid it's hard to see how you could go wrong.
Be warned though, corvettes have a way of getting into your blood. You are right about that speed but you might want to make sure your brother will let you borrow it for a weekend once in a while. While I drive my LX470 most of the time, the corvette still seems to call to be driven at times. It does make you appreciate the ride and the view of the road from your LX470.
By the way I have seen some very good deals on ebay should you need to replace any of the oem floor mats/carpet. I bought a new cargo area mat for less than $40 which allows me to swap out and use the old one when carrying items which might damage or discolor it.
I keep the third row of seats in my mini-warehouse most of the time. They can be added or removed with little difficulty. In fact sometimes leaving only one of them in the vehicle meets the need.
