Did all '99 LXs have the limited slip differential? The manual makes it sound like it was an option but the website says that it was standard. I am going to be flushing the rear differential and need to know if it is limited slip or not for the proper oil to be used.

Robert, I believe that the website is correct in saying the limited-slip was standard in '99. Also, I also think that a fully-locking rear diff was optional in '99. You will know if you have a fully locking rear differential if you have a dial on the dash to the left side of the steering wheel. It would be in the vicinity of the switches that pop open the rear quarter-panel windows. Most LX470's don't have this option and are equipped with the limited-slip rear.
