throttle body spacer?
Hey,
I was checking to see what kind of LX parts were on ebay and I found this sucker:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT
Seems to be a gimmick since its claims are pretty wild. "This effect will add 15 horsepower, 25 ft lb gain in torque, 4-5 miles per gallon increase in gas mileage, and quicker acceleration. "
What do you guys think?
-Robert

I emailed the guy that is advertising that stuff on ebay, no response. I emailed the people that purchased it, no email back either. I think its a gimmick.

Some people are happy with it...
I too am skeptical about this thing. I emailed a few people that bought it and 2 emailed back saying it helped and was noticeable.
I'm still not convinced, I think it's all in their head.
A hunk of metal cannot increase horsepower and gas mileage...Boy, if the Lexus engineers only knew about this thing
I think it's a crock.
