Default spark plug DIY procedure?

is there one available for the 470? I visited my mom over the weekend and drove her 2003 470 (25K miles), and it has much more torque and power than my 98 470 (190K miles). I was wondering if the spark plugs were causing such a huge difference in performance, or is it because I have so many miles.

I tried searching for a write up on the spark plug change, but havent found anything

The LX is coil-over-plug. That means you have to disconnect the coil packs and unblot each one at a time to change tne plugs.

I don't have the procedure for removing the plugs, but I do have the procedures for removing the coil overs. PM or email me so I can send the instructions to you. Once the coils are removed, just unscrew the plugs out.

You will have to remove the air intake box, as it goes over the plugs. It's a fairly easy job, that should take you 2 hours or less. I used platinum plugs instead of iridium, and the car runs perfectly.
