Oh and yes it does work on the LX450, it does on my 97 at least.

But that being said, I don't think it would look as good, the LX450 grill blends into the moldings pretty well with it's color and it might look out of place, thats why I haven''t done it yet at least.

ohhhh he did it on an LC.. oops... yeah... I'm gonna chip a bit of the paint before I start on my LX just to be sure first!

Can someone post a pic of the CHROME GRILLE ON A 1997 LEXUS LX450? I have one and am V ERY interested in doing it. Are you absolutely SURE that it is chrome underneath? Let me know. Thanks for the help!

How do you take off the grille on the 97 LX450? If anyone knows, please tell me. Thanks for the help, I would really appreciate it.

On the LX450 grille, do I have to remove the emblem before stripping or can I leave it on and go right over it? Someone please let me know. I think I will use the Aircraft remover. I don't want to ruin the emblem. Please let me know. Thanks. Anything would be appreciated.

Just chromed the grill on my 97 LX450, It looks amazing, what a difference! It looks great behind my grill guard, It really stands out. Finally something that can differentiate a 96-97 LEXUS LX from the 91-97 Landcruiser. I'll try to post some pics in the coming days...
