Booming noise at idle in gear

I will send you over a email to get that information. I wish my problem was with a "booming" noise. ;( The engine in our LX470 "knocks" or "piston slaps" for a few minutes when cold out. My problem is $$$$$ very expensive and getting Lexus to do something about it is getting hard. As the miles go up and the years go by....this noise is getting worse and worse. The truck is still covered under CPO for one more year but then its over. This is the fifth Lexus after owning Toyotas for over 20 years. I hate to see it come to this but it may be our last Lexus as well.
