My old Land Cruiser had over 80K miles on it with the original battery. It just depends. You can have the battery tested to determine the output.

mines a 2000 too with 12k miles on it, and it died couple months ago. but that was my fault..i don't usaully use it much and when i do, the battery is low then i jump it . so this happens a lot and the battery just couldn't keep up anymore, so I had to buy a new one.

Heat is what kills these sealed batteries and then when it gets cold they die. You would be smart to get a new battery now. Why take a chance. They don't cost that much and it only take a few minutes to have the battery changed. If it dies on you at the wrong time it could be a big pain in the butt. I pushed it in my wifes Lexus and the battery blow up on her and it was a big mess and hassle. When you replace buy a premium battery. Good luck
