I've heard that GX wheels on an LX450 would be a problem because of caliper rubbing. Does anyone think a 1.25" spacer would allow wnough clearance for this fitment to work? Would it get rid of the rubbing? Please let me know. ANYTHING, any opinion would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Wheel spacers, even small ones, change the geometry of your suspencison. They give the wheels more leverage with the vehicle and visa/versa. As such, your bushings, spings and shocks work harder to respond to suspension movement. I'd stick with the Toyota engineering.

The 96-97 LEXUS LX450 has 6 lugs, just like its base model brother 91-97 Toyota Landcruiser. The newer 98-present LEXUS LX470s have 5 lugs. Therefore, the GX wheels will only fit on the 96-97 LEXUS LX450.
