It says on the ebay page that it will fit 1998 to current Toyota Land Cruisers!

I might get some to!

98-07 landcruisers all have the same shape on the inner taillight. The 03+ LX's started using the 1 inch wider housings(at the base) that are the same shape as the Landcruiser.

Still waiting on reply to my wholesale email. I'll probably hear Monday; now, of course, there's a definite question of whether or not it fits.

Maybe we should forget about a group buy and someone do a test buy to make sure they fit.

What I propose is everyone who is interested post here, and help cover the first buyer if the lights don't work. So if 5 people are interested, they would pitch in $25 each to the first buyer, only if the lights don't work. So then the first person would only be out $220 instead of $345. Something along those lines.

What do you guys think? Who's interested?

Wait, I just re-read your email, 1LoudLX. So you're saying that these won't fit our inner lights, correct? That 98-07 LC, 03+ LX use the same wide inner lights, and the 98-02 LX uses the narrower inner lights.

The distributor is claiming it does fit, and quoted me $260ea + shipping for five sets. That saves $30 per set, minus what it would cost to ship them out amongst us... so I'm thinking a net net savings of about $15. I'll see if I can beat him up more on the price.

I guess the question now is, if these do fit, are there four others (besides myself) who would want in?

They claim it will fit, but I keep looking at the pictures & I don't think it will. LC and 03+ LX only I'm afraid. I'm so bummed. I thought we had hit the jackpot.

Since he has false info, why not make someone get it and then ask for money back cuz the buyer had an 00' and it didn't fit. Then lets sell it back on ebay and split the cost...LOL

Yeah, good luck getting a refund from Hong Kong. Best case scenario is you'd be out $75 shipping both ways.

You know the JDM have paint-to-match trim pieces for the tailgate lights. So, let me ask this... since our tailgates don't fit the new lights, here's what the cover pieces + new look like... what do ya'll think? Very 4-Runner-ish... but not bad...

even tho that is photoshoped, that looks terrible to me. Ive actually totally decided to stay with the the current style tailights i have. I like the look of the new ones but at the same time, do not think it would fit my truck color.
