Upgrading the rear light with 2006 LED Style??

GB, this is not a "group buy" because the board rules state the seller has to sponsor and announce it. This is... err... a "mass buy" because I'm talking to the distributor about the quantity tiers and discounts. I would also then have them all shipped to me (they come from Hong Kong) and re-ship them out to you guys.
Last time I checked, we needed 5 sets to get a discount.

what exactly is that white LED on the outside? If that is the reverse, we will need to do some re-wiring as our reverse light wiring harness goes into the tailgate, not the outer body panels. I believe it was designed for the TLC, which has always had the reverse lights on the outer flanks.

For 3 sets, it's $265 ea w/ $180 shipping via EMS (3-6 days). That's about $50 cheaper per set than getting them from the seller on eBay, who is a retailer (i.e. might be a longer time to process order).
However, once they got to me, I'd have to ship them to ya'll, for probably, what, another $15? So the savings isn't all that great.
What do ya'll think?

I bought and installed singapore-shipped LED tails from eBay on my '03 a few weeks ago.
Very easy install--2 screws and pull-pins on the side units.
4 screws for a plate under the tab-removed carpet on the tailgate, then 2 nuts come off and they unplug. The dash light comes on, but they work fine. I have seen resistors that supposedly fix this, I just took out the warning light myself.
I can post pics if anyone wants 1aebq
