Rear Entertainment Screen Drop Down Problem
I have a 2005 LX470. Ever since I purchased it in May, the rear entertainment screen will drop down on its own--sometimes when the doors of the vehicle are slammed shut and sometimes for no reason at all. I brought it into my local Lexus dealer and had it replaced, but the problem still persists with the replacement screen. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I too, have had that problem. It sucks!!! I took it to the dealer and they changed out the trim ring around the RES. It happens still but only once in a long while. Lexus of Colorado Springs did the repair and it has worked quite well. You might call them so they can explain exactly what they did to fix it. My service tech was named Don Goller. He has been most helpful. Good luck.
