Is it really that big off a difference in hp gain between either putitng in a whole new intake or just throwing in the K&N filter? I'll definitely go and buy the filter, the intake maybe. I finally found one for my ride http://www.suprastore.com/cruisairsysc.html . Will a intake void anything on my warranty? I heard some intakes, like the RMM one, will make your car worse  ! What do you think of this one?

Any power gains will have to come from more fuel in the cylinders. All a filter will do for you is make it breathe better at upper rpm's, shifting the torque curve upwards. That costs you on bottom end where you need it the most. Check out the Toyota Tundra forums; they've tried everything! Change to synthetic oil, drop in a K&N filter element, and save your money for a supercharger. Or swap in a Cummins!

I really don't want a hot rod sounding engine...there's a intake on www.suprastore.com and it claims to make it sound like a V8, I guess I could bare somthing like that but I'm not looking to have a loud car........unless it's loud nonchalantly

An intake will make it a little louder because you are getting more air into the engine. More air equals more power. A K&N is only good at trapping dirt and not having to be replaced, otherwise, they don't do ****. I have one on my Grand Cherokee and I didn't notice any gain in power. On the upside, I don't have to buy anymore air filters.
