Default 2006 DVD Bypass final word

I had a 2002 LX that I got the dealership wiring diagram for and by passed the parking brake and the motion/speed sensor. At the time I did not know that the car used the speed sensor to keep the GPS and car in sync on the map… Not a big deal, but I did spend some days driving just off to the side of the map.
Now I have a 2006 LX and again got the dealership wiring diagram for the screen unit. This one is MUCH more complex, but the wires you need to cut and ground are the same as in an 2002… Same color… Same place. The good news is that the 06 has 2 speed sensor wires and you only cut one of them to bypass the dvd. You leave the one that the GPS uses to keep you on the road.
Basically 2002 – 2006 you cut and ground the Red / White stripe wire and just cut the violet(very light purple) wire.

This is one of my few posts on the LX. But can you elaborate on that? Where are these wires etc? Noobie to this section.
