Default A quick suspension Question

Hey guys, I currently bought a 1999 LX470 and on the drive home I noticed that the back end was really really bouncy, now the seller already told me about this problem, so its not like I didn’t know about it, but I wanted to ask you guys and see if any of you have had anything like this come up, I personally think its either my shocks or the ride height accumulator (the balloon looking thing), can any one please chime in and let me know what they think. So far I have checked all my fuses and there all ok, my suspension fluid is a tad bit low, nothing major but I'ma make a run to the dealer and pick some up.

description of problem;
while driving at any speed any bump will set of the back in to a series of bumps, it feels as if the shocks are shot and the car cannot recover from the initial impact. when I try to lower or raise the height of the car, the front is all smooth but the rear feels jerky and very abrupt.

Thank you in advance

Tommy

Had a similar problem on my 99LX. Took it in to lexus and the rear accumulators were bad. It is not a cheap fix. How many miles are on it?

A couple of options, there are those who rebuild the suspension actuators at a lower cost than new. You can also swap out the suspension for an aftermarket set-up for about $900.
