HID's in an LX470?
My wife and I are seriously considering an 06 LX470 and it's certainly not a deal killer but our other cars have HID headlights and we almost feel like we can't live without them. Hell, I even retro fitted some onto my otherwise stock 98 NSX.
Has anyone been sucessful in installing HID's in their LX? If so, please share your results.
Thanks.

Hid Issue
Yes . Its very easy and You just CANT drive without HIDs once you get used to them
here is the spec
The LOW BEAM HID is a H1 type.
The Hi Beam HID is 9005 type (not recommended)
The Fog lights are H3.
I recommend you getting the 4500k or 6500 super white for the LOW beam and FOG and leave the HI stock. Contact Steve at www.xenondepot.com

It was explained to me once that because of the height of the LX, HIDs would be too bright and blind the guy driving the puny sedan in front of you.
Don't know how true that is, but it does make sense.

there are many features the lx does not have which are common now in lux vehicles cool seats is my biggest miss it is in the new gs and ls but not the lx anyway i am not to happy with my 06 my 99 got smashed and i was unhappy with the repair so i traded it in. you do know these are made in a different plant in japan now and quality control sucks at 3k miles the sun roof rattles the passenger mirror does not tilt back up after reverse and the biggest thing which was scarry at first my oil press guage does not move. i would go with an 05 and save a ton of cash if i could go back now but thats life.
