how do you turn on the traction system on a 2001 lx470? i tried everything but i cant seem to find the button and dont have a clue to turn it on.... i think its called like the vsc control system it for the snow so the lexus wont slip in heavy snows... so any help please....

The traction control system is always on; you can't turn it off. If you are concerned about spinning on take off, try pushing the winter button ('2nd') next to the shifter. What kind of shape are your tires in? If you still have the original tires they may be worn to the point that they won't work well in the snow.
