Default No interest?

I don't get it. I have a beautiful 2001 LX470 for sale with only 45,000 miles. It does not have a nick or ding on it. It has been serviced every 5000 miles at the dealer since new. I can't get even one response. It is priced at less then half the orignal price and can't be told from new. It seems everyone wants a Lexus but want to buy one for the price of a Honda.

Sounds nice, often it is a problem of getting the ad out to the right people. Will your local sale guy/dealer help you by pointing people in your direction?

I bought my second LX two years ago via the search sites, cars.com, etc.

Good luck!

Agree with wignot - in some markets luxury vehicles are easier to move than in others. I looked for an LX470 for about 3 months back in '03 here in Phoenix - there just weren't any for sale! Check out the Phoenix and California markets.

CL is a great website so please don't anyone take this as a knock but... compare the traffic of autotrader vs. CL and I think you'll see that your logic is flawed. Moreover, not everyone looking for a Luxury SUV is going to think to look at CL. In fact, they might not even know about CL.

Never even heard of CL. Put it on autotrader. That's where I found my CPO LX. I got mine locally (by coincidence on autotrader), a rare find here in AZ (humidity is so low that the nuts & bolts underneath are still shiny new). I searched for many months. LX's/LC's in AZ are scarce, was expecting to have to go to LA to buy.

Sorry Jim... CL is Club Lexus...

Skyman - the widest net catches the most fish. Put it on autotrader.

I agree. CL is not a good place to look for buyers. If you are on CL, chances are you already have a lexus.

Thanks for all the input. I have listed it on cars.com which also reaches MSN and Kelley Blue Book. It is a great ad with a place for twelve pictures. It is a money back guarantee if car doesn't sell in 90 days, plus I can renew the ad for free. It really is a perfect LX that should go to someone that will appreciate it. I just have too many cars. Thanks again.
