when i bought a 02 lx470 it said " Pre-wiring for cellular telephone" can anyone explain what it means does it mean my 470 is bluetooth compatible if yes how do i found out

I found it by searching some terms in google. However, I would try giving your local Lexus dealer a call. They should offer great customer service, and be knowledgable in the subject you have a question on! I know that article above is not an exact fit, different vehicle and a mute question, but it may establish more of what your looking for. It seems its something wired into the sound/ perhaps directly to the speakers.

I believe that just means the vehicle is easily wired to a Lexus cellular phone. I don't think bluetooth was available in vehicles in 2002.

spoke to the dealer i bought the car from (not lexus) said that my car has been assigned a esn number which lexus can find out for me so will be going to the dealer sometime soon.
