Default Off-roading Trip 8/05/06 in Houston!!

Hey all,

We're having another off-roading trip on 8/05/06 at Generalsams.com:

http://generalsams.com/

It is in Huntsville. I think that the gate fee is $15. It is a lot of fun...something for everyone. Family is welcomed.

Last time out, we had a mix of vehicles: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showth...ng+5%2F13%2F06

Date: 8/05/06
Where: Generalsams park (see link above)
When: around 1 pm

****This may be our last run in this park. I heard that there is a mountain or something that we missed the last times out. We have covered most of everything else.****

Please repond to this thread or PM me if you are going...so that we don't leave anyone behind.

See you on the trails....

Update: we are going to have at least 2-3 Xterras (old and new gen), FJ Cruisers, Rubicon, lifted 4runners, etc..

I'd like to come out with one of the Rovers but I'm booked up all day with needy clients. Have fun and take pictures.

I know some of the Rover club is heading to College Station to BVORR this weekend as well. If you haven't been there yet it's worth checking out. Pretty fun and about the same distance from the city...plus when you're done you can get Jalapeno Fries and The Dixie Chicken

Next time, just bring any 4x4 you want...BVORR maybe our next trip. It just looks underdeveloped from the pics...lots of branches and tall grass. I like Generalsams because it is developed and is mostly rocks (when dry).

Yeah...no rocks in the Brazos Valley...but there are lots of washouts with fun twisty stuff...and good if any stockers want to run as well.

Rovers my only choice...the LX is a pavement pounder.

Yeah, that's what i thought. I don't like mud. I like to climb rocks and ledges.
