Default LX470 Front Side Marker Lights

Anyone know what you need to do to be able to access the front side marker lights on a 2002 Lx-470? There is one screw at the top that looks to hold it in, but the bottom is still attached. What needs to be removed to get access to this little stinkin light?

It may seem crazy but it is the right way to remove them and i have done it this way many times. Unscrew the screw you speak of and then insery a larger flat head screw driver into the the bottom of the space between the corner light and headlight and gently pry the light away from the headlight. It will eventually pop and then the light is free. There is a clip that you cannot see and this is how the lexus tech at my local dealership told me to remove it and it works. Good lucka and be gentle.

You're talking about the front corner parking lights, right? I just had mine out a few weeks ago to splice off the wire to rig up parking lights in my new front bumper. Remove the single screw at the top, then use finger nails, plastic putting knife, or whatever (if you use a screwdriver, tape it up well or you'll chip the paint) and pry the light forward. It should slide straight forward (towards you if you're standing facing the hood). I found it easy to stick one hand in from the bottom meanwhile prying w/ fingertips from the back edge and pulling forward. It'll suddenly pop out.

Instead of posting a new thread on how to remove the side marker light assembly, I thought I would post this here on this old thread because it's still relevant and helpful for someone that doesn't know how to remove it. The front side marker on the LX470 uses the same 'pin into a socket' type fastener as the LX450. I made a video of how to do it on a 1997 LX450, and even though it's a different model, the process is the same. Here's a link to the video if anyone needs to see how to remove it:
