2006 Lx470
Just picked one up for a few hundred $ above invoice.
Paid 62k$ + TTL.
No night vision, the sales lady said she couldn't do 63k$ for the one with Nightvision.
I've got another 85 pictures @ 10mb total. Give me your email address and I'll send the rest of the pictures to you if you want.
Man I love this truck so much. My uncles have had a LX450, and two other LX470s (2001's) and it's so nice to stay in the family.

DjFergi: Thank you so much. This was a long time coming. I drove it about 50 miles today and I just can't get over how smooth the beast is. It's so large, but size in itself is a luxury!
AJL0365: I don't know if yahoo will allow me to send 9mb worth of pics, but I'll see what I can do
LexusChris: I don't know if AOL will allow me to send 9mb worth of pics, but I'll see what I can do
I sent you guys both the email, I hope you guys get the pics!
Let me know which ones are you favorites, and I'll post them in this thread.

She said she couldn't do under 64$+change for the black on grey with nightvision.
For us Nightvision isn't a needed option so dad and I decided to save the money and go for the one without Nighvision.
I'd post more pics, but honestly I have 85 of them, I'd rather email them as they are around 9mb total.

The more and more I drive the truck (already 50 miles on it) the more and more I love it.
Granted, I'll be driving the SL most of the time, but I think it might be time to try to do some bribing and see if my dad wants to keep his sports car for a few more months
If anyone is on the seesaw wondering if they should get this truck or something else -- stop! Get the LX470, you won't be disappointed.
I'lve said it once and I'll say it again; size in itself is a luxury.
This truck just exudes it in every aspect. The ride is plush. It's a perfect mix between the LS430 with UL package and my X5 4.4i (only rear airsuspension).

Things that I noticed were.
1. Refinement, everything works so well. I have the 4.7 in my tundra and they are both so refined.
2. Little touches here and there. A,B,C and D pillars are all covered with cloth and not plastic. All windows are power down and up. Arm rests are variable in adjustment (Tundra seats have only one setting). Lower door panels are not hard plastic but instead are made of a softer material.
One thing I do not like is that there is no dual climate control in the front.

pagemaster - I hope you got my email?
There are hundreds of small little touches which are honestly too many to remember. Just to hit on a few things --
- The speedometer and tachometer have a small blue light on the edge of the dial indicating the level they are at. Think of the needle extending a bit more. Very impressive. I've always felt the instrument cluster on a Lexus was the best (than BMW).
- Once you arrive at your destination and turn off your truck at night, the side sills light up and there are lights underneth the truck as well! I always wanted to do this mod on my X5 when I saw a picture of a Brabus S-Class with the puddle LED's!
- The second row can adjust the source, meaning switch from CD, to FM, to AM as well as change the tuning or track and disc.
There is much more I can talk about, but for right now that is all. I am in awe of this truck and the advancements it's made in the past few years.

Thanks I got the e-mail, I haven't gotten a chance to figure out which is my favorite there are too many good ones. It is such a beautiful truck to think it came out 1998 and today still looks beautiful. I would love to trade my Pathfinder for one. But according to edmunds.com in one test "A great sound system and awesome leather add to the Pathfinder's high-end feel. If you want LX470 ambiance for 20 grand less, look no further." So I guess I kind of have a LX myself.
