Buick is reportedly the most reliable of the GM labels. The only experience I've had with one is a rental in FL...AC button was broken, fortunately in the "on" position. If one only keeps a car for the warranty period, the buick should hold together. The main advantage to Toyota/Lexus is if you keep it much longer...10, 15, 20 yrs. Also, newer cars are increasingly electronic. If anything breaks, it's more likely to be electronically-related. Over time, the electronics degrade, connectors get old & oxidized, etc. So it boils down to design and quality of the parts. Whose electronics do you trust more?

my grandma just called me a few hours ago. Told me she had to bring it in for a recall and stuff. Something to do with the check engine light and cruise control or something i dont know. She has a Buick Lacrosse.

Buicks might be the most reliable but still is a GM, lol
