does lexus LX changing style in 2008?

i'm about to buy an LX 470 2007 for $67000, but i just want to know in the year of 2008 lexus will change the body style of LX. Anyone know ?

there might be a new Toyota/Lexus SUV coming out based on the new 07 tundra thats coming soon

Latest rumor is that there will be no LX for 2008 so this may be your last chance at the LC-based LX. Article said they are breaking from the LC design in 2009 and it will likely be more car-based.

Latest from a Chicagoland Lexus dealer: JX470/550 for 2008 to be introduced towards the end of 2007.

I've heard the JX is going to be based on the Sequoia.

VX is just another model name for a Land Cruiser.

In Europe I think they call the VX the Amazon.

Thats going to be the JX! (GS based SUV)

LX ( No more like a Land Cruiser)

I want to hear something legit about the JX. It has been too long for the LX to not have a facelift. But if this JX is coming where is there some info on it?

hmm. I talked to a Toyota Dealer and the guy said that theres a possible chance that they will discontinue the Landcruiser and keep the LX since people buy more LX's than Landcruisers and that they will redesign the Sequoia and make the Landcruiser absolete. Since the Sequoia will have a similar body style like the new 2007-2008 Tundras. But who knows, whenever it comes out, it comes out.

no way does toyta discontinue the landcruiser, ever. just cause the lx sells a little more briskly in the usa market, the l/c is a huge seller in overseas markets.

word is now that the lx replacement due next fall will still be based off the l/c, NOT the sequoia as previously thought. WHEW!
